Panel Construction and Profile
The Pure Polyurethane Hidden Nail Three Wave Corrugated Roofing Panel is a factory-manufactured composite roofing unit consisting of three functional layers bonded under controlled production conditions. The upper face is a color-coated steel sheet formed into a three-wave corrugated profile, which provides structural rigidity, efficient rainwater drainage, and architectural definition across the roofline. The insulation core is fully bonded to both the upper and lower faces, creating a single rigid panel assembly that is ready for direct installation onto purlins or structural steel frames.
Hidden Nail Fastening System
The defining structural feature of this panel is its hidden nail connection system. All fixing screws are positioned at the raised wave ribs and concealed beneath the overlapping section of the adjacent panel, so no fastener penetrates the flat waterproof surface of the installed roof. This approach eliminates exposed screw heads that can loosen over time, reduces the number of potential water ingress points across the roof plane, and produces a cleaner, more uniform roofline appearance. The hidden fastener design also contributes to maintaining panel integrity in thermal cycling conditions, where expansion and contraction could otherwise stress exposed fixing points.
Surface Material and Coating Options
The upper steel facing is manufactured from color-coated galvanized or aluminum-zinc steel sheet, available in thicknesses of 0.4 mm to 0.8 mm depending on structural and budget requirements. Three surface coating systems are available: PVDF fluorocarbon coating, which offers the highest level of UV resistance, color stability, and long-term weathering performance; SMP silicon-modified polyester coating, which provides a balanced combination of weather resistance and cost efficiency; and PE ordinary polyester coating, which is suitable for standard commercial and agricultural applications with moderate environmental exposure. Standard available colors are white-grey, scarlet, navy blue, and iron grey, with custom colors available on request.
Polyurethane Insulation Core
The insulation core is composed of high-density rigid polyurethane (PU) foam, which is injected and bonded continuously between the two steel faces during production. The thermal conductivity of the core material is ≤0.023 W/m·K, providing effective thermal insulation performance that helps reduce energy consumption in heated or cooled buildings. The PU foam core also contributes to sound attenuation by dampening rain impact noise and external acoustic transmission through the roof. The core exhibits low water absorption under normal service conditions, helping to preserve insulation performance over the service life of the panel. Core thickness options of 50 mm, 60 mm, 75 mm, 80 mm, 100 mm, and 150 mm allow the panel to be specified according to local thermal requirements and structural loads. Fire performance of the panel assembly meets GB8624 Grade B1 standard.
Dimensions, Specifications, and Customization
The panel has an effective coverage width of 1,000 mm per panel, reducing the total number of panels and joint lines required across a given roof area and improving installation speed. The color steel facing thickness ranges from 0.4 mm to 0.8 mm, and core thickness options are 50 mm, 60 mm, 75 mm, 80 mm, 100 mm, and 150 mm. Panel length is available to order and can be specified according to project purlin spacing, transport constraints, and structural requirements. Fuqiang accepts custom orders for non-standard lengths, thicknesses, colors, surface coatings, and facing materials based on customer drawings or project specifications.
Installation Compatibility and Accessories
The three-wave corrugated profile is designed for installation onto standard cold-formed or hot-rolled steel purlins at conventional purlin spacing for insulated roofing systems. The hidden nail system uses concealed structural fasteners supplied or specified by Fuqiang. Matching accessories available for the complete roofing system include ridge caps, eave trims, barge flashings, gutter sections, valley flashings, corner pieces, and sealant tapes, enabling single-source procurement for roofing system installation. Technical data on recommended purlin spacing, fastener type, and load capacity is available upon request from Fuqiang’s technical support team.
Project Suitability
This panel is suitable for new construction and re-roofing applications across industrial facilities, commercial warehouses, logistics centers, agricultural buildings, prefabricated steel structure buildings, and large-span public buildings. The combination of hidden fasteners, integrated insulation, and corrugated drainage profile makes it particularly well suited to projects where installation efficiency, roofline appearance, energy performance, and long-term weathering resistance are primary design requirements. The panel can be used in a wide range of climatic conditions and is commonly specified for projects in tropical, temperate, and arid environments.
